- Getting close now !
With
the parts back it was time to do the same with the right hand skin
as I had with the left. Another jig was made and the
riveting began.
I was very pleased with the right hand side, it has gone together
well. Some of the primer needs a touch up to two.
I used
my new bucking bar for the right hand side as well which made it a
lot easier to use. Everyone seems to get one of these and is
pleased with the result. Don't think about it go to this
chap and buy one !
Tungsten Bars -
very small, very heavy...just plain great. I have clecoed on
the rear spar to hold everything straight in the jig that will be
taken off for inspection and then later will be riveted in place.
Ok that's if it passes inspection of course...yes I am slightly
nervous.
